Why I’ve committed a career suicide by posting leaked documents online?
By Ehden Biber
If you haven’t heard about the #PfizerLeak, I congratulate you for listening only to mainstream media. So for those who have no idea what’s going on, here is a brief summary:
On the 26th of July 2021 I’ve posted a series of tweets in under the title: “PFIZERLEAK: EXPOSING THE PFIZER MANUFACTURING AND SUPPLY AGREEMENT.“
This is what I’ve written afterwards on the 1st post:
Pfizer has been extremely aggressive in trying to protect the details of their international COVID19 vaccine agreements.
Luckily, I’ve managed to get one.
And then I added the (image which appeared on my 1st tweet).
I would love to share with you more, but as you can see via visiting my twitter account, which is now suspended, all the subsequent tweets have been deleted. Don’t worry, if you want to catch up I’m sure you can find it online, or down below. This is not why I am writing this post.
SO WHY ON EARTH would I do such a thing? Since the age of 18 I have been working professionally in the field of information security. I had a long career, I worked almost all my life to secure information from exposure, so why the hell did I do it?
The answer is simple – I didn’t had a choice, because of what I saw.
Years ago I worked in Merck (or more correctly Merck, Sharp & Dohme) for 7 years, half of the time as the regional information security officer for Europe, Middle-East, and Africa (EMEA). I’ve seen contracts that countries have signed when a ministry of health has ordered our products. Contracts were usually standardized, because pharmaceutical companies like to have their disputes settled in the US, not in local courts. As I’ve written in my thread
“Because the cost of developing contracts is very high and time consuming (legal review cycles), Pfizer, like all corporations, develop a standardized agreement template and use these agreements with relatively minor adjustments in different countries.”
I’ve added that
“These agreements are confidential, but luckily one country did not protect the contract document well enough, so I managed to get a hold of a copy.
As you are about to see, there is a good reason why Pfizer was fighting to hide the details of these contracts.”
This brings me to the WHY
What I saw in the contract horrified me. This contract can and should be taught in universities as an example of a contract that any court in any county that has consumer rights act/law would have declared as illegal. The Sicilian Mafia probably would have loved to hire the lawyer who wrote this (or the law firm), or perhaps Pfizer has hired the law firm that works for The Sicilian Mafia.
This contract has required the country to make the contract above the current and future laws of the country. This contract requires a country to pay even if Pfizer did not deliver the product on time, even if Pfizer did not deliver the product at all. It demanded the country will provide full indemnity to Pfizer, it demanded that it defend Pfizer against 3rd party claims, which mainly means citizens who get harm by the vaccine. It defines the product not only as the vaccine but also as other technologies which are related to COVID, It demanded the country to acknowledge there are unknown long term effects of the vaccine and that they accept that risk, countries requires to put as collateral all their assets, including embassies… I can go on and on and on, read my thread, or look on my site for the analysis I did for the Brazilian contract which is even longer.
This was not a contract, it was a foreign power dictating to a country terms and conditions of their surrendering.
I did not expect such a contract. I only searched for one because an Israeli privacy expert wrote on that day that he had read the contract of the Israeli government and that he does not understand why everyone are so upset about it. He referred to the research agreement with Pfizer. When I asked him to which contract he refers to, and when he responded by telling me there is only one contract and that anyone who think otherwise is a conspiracy theorist, I decided to find one. Took me 5 to 10 minutes to do so.
Since it was on a public site called gogo.al, and since it had a watermark, I was sure it was someone who decided to prevent anyone from steeling the original document and they wanted to put some watermark on it. I thought it was a copy of the contract that arrived to google in Albania. Only later I found out it is an Albanian media outlet which posted it IN JANUARY THIS YEAR.
What I did know after I read it is that I am going to try to make it viral, and so I constructed the most viral post I could think of. I’ve used everything – from not exposing the name of the country, blacking it out, making people curious, creating short captions and adding the full clauses as a photo, revealing more and more. I wanted it to be viral, but I had no idea how viral it would become.
At the end of the 26th of July I had 444,260 organic impressions. That was crazy, but nothing prepared me for the next day. It just spread like wildfire.
On the next day on the 27 I’ve posted the Brazilian contract, this one was 100% legit – because I was holding a copy of the contract that had been digitally signed, and I validated both the signatures and vs. the DocuSign server of the Brazilian government. It was from another region, but it was almost exactly the same. When I went to sleep that night I had 6,979,989 organic impressions, and a day later I saw I had more than 8 million. Unreal.
People were sharing it with everyone, I created a hashtag which went around the world. I went to do 2 interviews… and then Twitter had suspended my account.
Now, to make it clear – I DID NOT VIOLATE THE TWITTER RULES. I’ve checked them, and I know I did not violated them. All the information I’ve used was public, I just found it and leaked it to the world.
Twitter, on the other hand, had started to go on an aggressive deletion of my tweets, not only the two threads but anything that is a comment on the nature of the power that was used. I have tried to reach out to them, but they do not respond (for days now).
The price of telling the truth
I know that in our line of work as information security and privacy professional, having your name and then adding “who leaked” means a professional death sentence. Still, I did it without any fear. First – because indeed it was a leak, but the leak was a leak of information via the draconian censorship we are in. The Albanian contract and information on the Brazilian contract were available online, FOR MONTHS, and we didn’t know about it. The EU contracts were leaked to the public on APRIL this year yet no one ever heard about them.
So yes, I leaked the documents via the tightening censorship of the big tech companies who have been doing everything they can to prevent us from having an open discussion about what is going on, and I leaked it via the mainstream media who have been failing to do their duty and were killing stories that should have been in the headlines of every country in the world.
I am not a legal expert, but you don’t need to be a legal expert to identify risks. I work in information security for many years, I help organizations manage risks of confidentiality, integrity and availability for a living. I live risk management.
If I can see endless contractual risks in this contract, and I am not a lawyer, I can assure you that lawyers would have noticed it. Where are all the legal experts who were supposed to vet these contracts on behalf of our governments? Why did they allow this kind of loophole to occur? Were they forced to approve it? Why were we, as citizens, being presented with the contract and the contractual risk assessment that was done? If it was not done, why?
As I have written in one of my tweets, I already saw how Israel has turned into a pharmaceutical Banana Republic, where the priorities of a multinational supersede the priorities of its citizens. It is no longer the Jewish motherland, it is Pfizerland.
Every country that has signed this contract with Pfizer has been forced into becoming a pharmaceutical Banana Republic. You might think that you live in the US, or Canada, or Israel, or Brazil, or the United Kingdom, but in fact you are living in Pfizerland, or Modernaland, or AstraZenecaLand, depending on the vaccine manufacturer your country has signed such a contract, and I can assure you, they did.
The contracts I have published brought to light the fact that our governments seems to have been forced to sign such agreements without our knowledge and our consent as citizens, which practically turned the world into one big pharmaland. I do not want any company to be above the rule of law of my country, and I do not want my country to change its laws so that a company can be exempted from what we, as citizens of the country (and “normal” companies who operate within them), are required to abide by. Our governments and ministries are supposed to serve us, not a pharmaceutical multinational, any other multinational company.
Brave New World
ALL Utopian visions (e.g. socialism) conflict with reality, and when they do people try to forcefully suppress the truth. This is how dystopia is created. What I see is a dystopian world being shaped all around me, via the suppression of truth, and I had to act.
When “The Great Reset” publication was saying “You will own nothing, and you will be happy” I didn’t realize it also means I will not own my body anymore. When your own country cannot defend you if a harm being done by a foreign entity, when it makes a legal obligation to collaborates with a foreign power and prevent you from receiving compensations if an harm occurs, the government of this country does not represent you anymore. This is not only Albania, or Brazil, this is now what has happened all around the world, and the governments are in deep fear people will realize it.
I believe that only the truth can set us free from creating hell on earth, and if the price I need to pay is to lose my ability to work in my profession I would happily do so, because the alternative is to wake up in hell and know I could have done something but I was too afraid to act. I don’t fear anything, I serve the truth.
